Selected Group has entered a partnership with Nevel on behalf of RegEnergy Fr\u00f6vi AB, to operate the energy infrastructure of its existing and upcoming greenhouse in Fr\u00f6vi, Sweden. The agreement leverages Nevel\u2019s strong expertise in utility infrastructure and material efficiency solutions \u2013 benefitting both the current tomato production and the new greenhouse under construction.<\/p>\n
Selected Group specializes in managing alternative investments, with a core area of expertise within Green Infrastructure, demonstrated by the RegEnergy Fr\u00f6vi project.<\/p>\n
Today, RegEnergy Fr\u00f6vi AB operates a state-of-the-art 100,000 m\u00b2 greenhouse, where tomatoes are produced using waste heat from local industry. The first production season has already been completed, and the second season commenced at the end of July, with the first harvest scheduled for end of September. Last winter, RegEnergy Fr\u00f6vi AB was the only producer able to supply Swedish-grown tomatoes every single week throughout the winter \u2013 making an important contribution to both food security and climate-friendly local production. In parallel with the existing facility, a second 100,000 m\u00b2 greenhouse is being constructed, which will also produce tomatoes based on the same circular principles, ensuring year-round supply to the market.<\/p>\n
Nevel will invest, on behalf of RegEnergy Fr\u00f6vi, in energy infrastructure to further develop and secure efficient, reliable and sustainable operations. Nevel will be responsible for operating, maintaining and optimizing the energy infrastructure in both greenhouses in Fr\u00f6vi. The agreement supports stable operations, future growth and the continued development of the RegEnergy concept.<\/p>\n
